As part of efforts to get broad-based support for the Good Leadership Security Awards being planned by Good Leadership Promotion Network, the National Coordinator of the Network Olaniyi Odina paid a working visit to the Buratai Center for Contemporary Security Studies in Igbinedion University Okada. He was received at the center by the Director, Prof. Femi Olufunmilade.
In his remark Olaniyi Odina intimated the Director on the journey so far by GOLPRONET and briefed him about efforts already put in place to achieve the Good Leadership Security Awards dedicated to appreciating offices and men of our Armed Forces and sister security agencies that are killed in Action, Wounded in Action or Shown bravery and gallantry on the several fronts we are battling as a nation. He also called for a partnership between the GOLPRONET and the Center.
In his reaction, the Director of the centre appreciated the efforts of the GOLPRONET and expressed the willingness of the center to support and collaborate to achieve such noble initiatives.
The leadership of GOLPRONET appreciated the Buratai Center for Contemporary Security Studies and Lt. Gen TY Buratai for championing such a cause that will contribute significantly to the eradication of Contemporary Security Challenges in Nigeria and entire Africa.
